is a compact modular mid-range CPU from the Delta AS Series, designed for general-purpose industrial automation with high processing speeds and versatile communication options.

The Delta Compact Modular Mid-range PLC AS Series is a high performance multi-purpose controller designed for all kinds of automated equipment. It features Delta's self-developed 32-bit SoC CPUs for enhanced execution speed (40 k steps/ms) and supports up to 32 extension modules or up to 1,024 inputs/outputs. The AS series provides accurate positioning control for up to 8 axes via CANopen motion network and max. 6 axes via pulse control (200 kHz). It is widely used in diverse automated equipment such as electronics manufacturing, labeling, food packaging, and textile machines.

The AS228T-A acts as the central controller for automated machinery, offering balanced I/O and motion capabilities:

Processing Speed: Powered by a 32-bit SoC CPU, achieving execution speeds up to 40k steps/ms.
Motion & High-Speed I/O: Supports 6 axes of high-speed pulse output (200 kHz) and includes 4 channels of high-speed input counters (200 kHz).
I/O Capacity: Comes with 16 digital inputs and 12 digital outputs (NPN transistor type). It can be expanded to a maximum of 1,024 I/O points across 32 modules.
Networking: Built-in Ethernet, USB, two RS-485 ports, and CANopen support for connecting to HMIs, drives, and SCADA systems.
