The Fuji Electric FRN0006E2S-4GB (FRENIC-Ace) is a "Standard Next-Generation" drive. It is designed for 3 HP motors (up to 5.5 Amps) and offers significantly more advanced automation capabilities than the Mini or Micro series.
Primary Control Functions
Built-in PLC Logic (Customizable): This is the defining feature of the Ace series. It allows you to program logic sequences (up to 200 steps) directly into the drive. You can manage timers, counters, and digital I/O to control a machine's operation without needing an external PLC.
Triple/Quadruple Ratings: You can tune the drive to your specific load:
Normal Duty (ND): Best for fans and pumps, allowing higher current (5.5A).
High Heavy Duty (HHD): Best for mixers or crushers, providing massive overload protection (200% for 0.5s) for heavy starts.
Safe Torque Off (STO): A high-level safety feature that physically cuts the motor's power path internally to prevent accidental starting during maintenance. This meets global SIL3/PLe safety standards.
Operational Capabilities
Advanced Vector Control: It provides extremely precise speed and torque control even without an encoder. It can maintain a steady speed even if the load changes drastically, making it ideal for precision conveyors or winding machines.
Multi-Motor Compatibility: It can run standard Induction Motors as well as high-efficiency Permanent Magnet (PM) Synchronous Motors, making it a "green" choice for modern energy-saving goals.

Safety & Maintenance
Removable Control Terminals: The wiring terminal block can be detached. If the drive needs to be replaced, you can simply unplug the wires and plug them into the new unit without re-wiring everything.
Predictive Maintenance: It tracks the "health" of its own internal cooling fans and DC bus capacitors. It will give you a warning signal when these parts reach 90% of their life, so you can change them before a failure happens.
Dual RS-485 Ports: It has two built-in communication ports, allowing you to connect a touchscreen (HMI) and a PC (for programming) at the same time.
