About MDDLN55NE - A6N Panasonic A6 1.5KW Driver
The Panasonic MDDLN55NE (A6N series) is a 1.5 kW "D-frame" AC servo driver designed for EtherCAT network communication. As part of the MINAS A6N series, it is built for high-speed, synchronized multi-axis motion control.
Function
- EtherCAT Connectivity: Its primary function is to integrate into an EtherCAT network. It supports the CoE (CAN application protocol over EtherCAT) and is ideal for complex machines where many axes must move in perfect synchronization.
- High-Speed Synchronous Control: Supports cycle times as fast as 125 s, allowing for extremely smooth and responsive path control in high-end CNC and robotics.
- Safety Integration: Unlike the basic SE/SG models, the NE series includes a built-in Safety Torque Off (STO) function (SIL3/PLe), which safely cuts motor power while keeping the driver powered up.
- Real-Time Feedback: Communicates 23-bit encoder data back to the master controller in real-time, enabling precise monitoring of position, speed, and torque.
